Product Description
The vibration damper dissipates oscillatory energy through the rotational and swinging motion of its end weights, which generates frictional damping forces via mutual sliding between the galvanized steel strands. Featuring a preformed rod design, the clamping strength between the preformed rods and the conductor is uniformly distributed over a 30–60 cm length, effectively protecting the conductor by eliminating stress concentrations. Its excellent slip resistance and anti-vibration performance, combined with the superior installation provided by the preformed rods, ensure long-term durability and stable, reliable holding strength between the rods and the conductor. The streamlined structure also facilitates convenient inspection and maintenance. Its inertia and helical elasticity enable the damping assembly to produce relative displacement during conductor oscillation, dissipating vibrational energy through viscous damping effects. The greater the conductor’s oscillation amplitude, the more energy the damper absorbs. Installation should prioritize placing the damper at vibration antinodes; as the damper’s resonant frequency is matched to the conductor’s vibration frequency, maximum energy dissipation efficiency is achieved at these points.
