Key Features
- Zero-Slip, Permanent Anchoring: Engineered with a precision wedge-lock mechanism that grips the conductor tighter under tension—eliminating slippage even in high-vibration or extreme weather conditions.
- Extreme Corrosion Resistance: Hot-dip galvanized (80+ microns) malleable cast iron body withstands harsh coastal, industrial, and tropical environments for 15+ years of maintenance-free service.
- Rapid & Tool-Lite Installation: Pre-assembled nuts and washers enable full installation with just one wrench—cutting labor time by up to 30% on large-scale projects.
Product Description
Our non-adjustable UT-type strain clamp is a robust, cost-effective solution for permanently anchoring bare conductors (e.g., ACSR, AAC) at terminal, angle, or dead-end poles in overhead distribution networks (up to 35kV).
The clamp features a U-shaped forged body made from high-strength malleable cast iron, paired with a hardened steel wedge. During installation, the conductor is seated into the groove, and the wedge is driven home. As line tension increases, the wedge self-tightens, creating an irreversible mechanical lock that transfers 100% of the conductor’s tensile load to the supporting structure.
Ideal for utility companies, EPC contractors, and renewable energy projects seeking a reliable, field-proven component that delivers long-term performance without compromise.
